The second day focused on the SETI/SECCI Scorecard, emphasizing the relevant initiatives for Sustainable Development Goals presented by Prof. Kher Dave Doños. This session highlighted how these initiatives could be integrated into SPAMAST’s extension activities. Participants were guided on how to use the SETI/SECCI Scorecard to evaluate and enhance their projects’ alignment with the SDGs.
The training workshop underscored the commitment of SPAMAST to promote sustainable development and gender equality through its extension programs. By equipping faculty members with the necessary tools and knowledge, the ESO aims to ensure that all extension activities contribute meaningfully to the global sustainability agenda.
The Extension Service Office (ESO) at the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), under the leadership of ESO Director Prof. Kher Dave Doños, successfully conducted a comprehensive training workshop on Gender Mainstreaming and SETI/SECCI Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Scoring. The event took place from July 25 to 26, 2024, at the SPAMAST Auditorium in Malita, Davao Occidental.
The event marks a significant step forward in SPAMAST’s efforts to mainstream gender and sustainability in its programs, reinforcing the institution’s dedication to fostering inclusive and sustainable growth in the region.
